Noir is a series of jewellery where the spectator is able to perceive the iron as the main material.
Iron is a metal that is interesting to work with because it has its intrinsic properties. These qualities of a material provoke me to work with it.
It is like a homage to this abundant metal; representing it in a labyrinth of lines that intersect on the flatness of the sheet where finds small amounts of other metals that provide contrasting energies.
“In short it is a look into the depths of the forms and a way of questioning the possibilities in jewellery.” David Olifant, 2013
