Eleni Marneri Galerie presents the Italian fashion designer Sylvio Giardina and his latest Jewelry collection. In the designer’s creations, opposites attract: on one side the love for the great classics of jewelry, on the other the vocation for research that favors manufactures and edgy details. The assembled geometric shapes give life to constructions that enhance the personality but don’t encase it, they are rather studies of volumes, interactions of solids and voids, of light and colors. The vocation for excellence is also reflected in the handcrafted processes applied to the selected materials: in addition to Swarovski crystals and Plexiglas, pearls, and palladium-plated brass, all of which strictly green, lead, and nickel free. Jewels that embody the essence of the House, able to touch the heartstrings of the female soul.

Sylvio Giardina is a creative person with dual identities, embodied in fashion, as a designer of haute couture, and in art, as a visual artist. He uses to say that to him “art is the inspiration, and fashion is the tool.” Giardina is a designer and visual artist who launched his own label that saw his affirmation in the creation of a prêtà-porter and a jewelry line. He has also worked for Gattinoni and co-created the brand Grimaldi Giardina.
