Eleni Marneri Galerie presents the jewelry collection of the Italian painter Claudia Lazzarini.
Claudia Lazzarini has been creating jewelry using the sculpting technique of lost wax casting. These works were profoundly inspired by her husband Luciano, a refined jeweler in Rome, who taught her all the secrets of this old and elaborate art craft.
Her creations often feature dancing figures, reminiscent of Matisse. Their continuous movement allows her to express a wide range of feelings, from joy to pain, that is explored and experienced in our everyday life. A choreography of emotions, fluid and unique, define Lazzarini’s unique artistic identity.
Artist’s Bio
Claudia Lazzarini, born in Fiume (former Yugoslavia), grew up between the United States and Italy.
