Christina Kellidi

Through an endless journey over ancient civilisations and modernist art movements, snapshots, sounds, emotions, and impressions turn into colorful artworks. Christina Kellidi sculpts the wood surface and creates small scaled sculptural jewellery. She focuses on plain line design without rigorous geometry. Selecting bold colours, she shapes her jewellery pieces as fluid figures of enigmatic volume. Christina Kellidi was born at 1958 in Sofia where she studied in the Academy of Fine Arts. From 1985-1989 she worked as a designer in the Center of Development and Application of Fashion Design “Rilla”. From 1989 to 1991 she worked as a chief editor for the fashion magazine “Lada”. Since 1991 she lives and works in Athens.

She has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Sofia, Madrid, Morocco, Switzerland and Athens.
