Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella’s Città di Kyoto fragrance was created to celebrate 40 years of partnership between the cities of Kyoto and Florence. Its floral bouquet has notes of iris, the symbol of Florence, coupled with sweet, sensual notes of lotus flower, popular in Japan. The perfume opens with vibrant, fruity and fresh top notes of jasmine and ylang-ylang, which are punctuated by the deeper hints of bergamot and orange. These are followed by base notes of Florentine iris and lotus.
