With a history of 30 years in the jewelry field, Eleni Marneri Galerie is opening up -once more- to the world of fa<\/span>shion and theatre, presenting Niki Psyhogiou’s latest <\/span>collection. Inspired by the Greek costume, the designer Niki Psychogiou creates a collection for <\/span>the contemporary woman and man.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"With a strong aesthetic view and high-quality materials, BOLD collection is immersed into the universe of Greek costumes and focuses on their geometry and dynamism. Through intense design, lines, and minimalistic motives she succeeds in adjusting clothes of the past into present reality. Deconstructing and then reconstructing the style of traditional dresses, Niki Psyhogiou suggests clothes that underline powerfulness, vigor, and the harmonic contradictions of individuals today.<\/p>\n

Niki Psychogiou was born in 1983 in Livadeia (Central Greece). In 2007, she graduated from the Archaeology and History Department of Athens University. From 2008 to 2011 she studied \u201cInterior and Spatial Design\u201d with specialization in Performance Design of University of the Arts \u2013 London (Chelsea College of Art and Design). She followed up with her studies at the Veloudakis Fashion School, attending fashion, design pattern, and styling courses. She has worked as a costume and set designer since 2011 in theatre performances, including Sophocles’ \u201cElectra\u201d (Athens and Epidaurus Festival), Monteverdi’s \u201cOrfeo\u201d (Megaron-The Athens Concert Hall), Giannis Mavritsakis’ \u201cTranslocation to the Red\u201d, Wolfram Lotz’s \u201cThe ridiculous darkness\u201d (National Theatre of Greece \u2013 Experimental Stage), Luigi Pirandello’s \u201cTonight we improvise\u201d (National Theatre of Greece – Main Stage).<\/p>\n
